Supporting female entrepreneurship
The Women in Business call for projects aims to strengthen women’s entrepreneurship by supporting projects that help Brussels’ female entrepreneurs.
This initiative by the Brussels-Capital Region promotes support programmes, from the ideation phase through to accelerated growth, as well as mentoring, self-help, coaching activities and events, led primarily by networks of female entrepreneurs.
Projects must fall into one of the following two categories:
- support programs for potential and existing women entrepreneurs, especially from the ideation phase to the growth phase
- mentoring, mutual aid and coaching programs, activities and events, particularly those run by networks of women entrepreneurs

The call for projects is back for a third edition! Apply now and until June 30 to receive financial support for your project to support female entrepreneurship!

Empower Mamans Solos
Led by WEB asbl and NIBI Coaching asbl
Empower Mamans Solos aims to support single mothers in economically and socially vulnerable situations in Brussels, wishing to re-enter the job market by setting up their own business. This project was initiated by the non-profit organisations WEB and NICI Coaching.
Led by High Her
The Money Academy promotes gender equality in the economy, by facilitating access to funding for female entrepreneurs and providing the tools needed to succeed, working on fundraising, access to capital through matching entrepreneurs with funders and mentors, and networking, providing access to the network of adapted financing organisations.
Led by Nathalie Wouters and Madame Papillon asbl
Slow & Grow aims to support women who have experienced burnout and wish to undertake or develop their entrepreneurial project. The nine-month programme includes group support sessions for creating or developing a Slow business, wellness sessions and individual coaching, as well as membership of the Slow Tribe network to benefit from the support of a community of other female Slowpreneures.

Assowomen – A “so women” project is a support programme for female entrepreneurs wishing to set up their own non-profit organisation. It covers all aspects of associative entrepreneurship, from the ideation phase to the creation of the non-profit organisation itself, as well as all the mandatory and useful documents for associative management.

UP! Unleash Potential! aims to strengthen the digital and entrepreneurial skills of women in Brussels. Over 15 months, participants will benefit from training in AI, blockchain, and cybersecurity, as well as workshops on leadership and team management.
OpenDoors For Women
Led by Opendoors
OpenDoors For Women aims to provide encouragement, support, information and help to Ukrainian women who have fled the war and want to set up their own business in Brussels.
Beautypreneuses
Led by L’odyssée asbl and Les Ateliers Zarragga asbl
Beautypreneuses aims to empower migrant and afro-descendant women who run businesses in the beauty sector in Brussels by providing them with the skills, resources and support they need to understand the sector and have a suitable and viable value proposition in the beauty industry.

Funds for Her
Led by Crédal and Funds For Good Impact
A support programme that removes the obstacles to women’s entrepreneurship and facilitates access to financing. It focuses in particular on women who have limited access to banking services and face cross-discrimination.
Womanity Accelerator
Led by Serendipities and HEO
This program offers free one-year support that includes workshops and coaching, to help women move from desire to action.
WeFund
Led by Womenpreneur and Beci
WeFund offers women entrepreneurs a programme designed to provide them with the essentials of financial management and demystify the world of finance and investment.
Entreprenoires Boost’Class
Led by Belgian Entreprenoires and Inspire
The project offers a “VSE management” training programme aimed at women entrepreneurs who suffer both sexism and negrophobia and whose business is a scale-up.
Empower Women in Art & Culture
Led by Job’in Design|CAWA asbl & Cocorico And Co
This program supports women entrepreneurs in the cultural and creative industries, from idea to business creation.
Selfmade
Led by Hors Norme
In addition to raising awareness and inspiring women entrepreneurs in Brussels with targeted communication, the project aims to develop a support offer which will be implemented in partnership with Réseau Entreprendre Bruxelles.
