#SheDIDIT is the Belgian platform for women entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds.
Since 2018, we have been supporting and guiding women from migrant backgrounds who want to set up a business but don’t know where to start or encounter other obstacles.
We do this in several ways:
- SheMeansBusiness: five-session customised individual business coaching resulting in a financial plan, a business plan and legal/administrative support for a start-up (more than 500 women have followed this individual programme since its launch in 2021). More info
- Youthpreneurs: a ten-week programme for women aged 15 to 28, during which they present their final results to a jury. The programme’s main aim is to enhance young people’s skills and self-awareness (more than 250 women have taken part in the programme since it was launched in 2021). More info
- SheHUB: a shared inclusive concept store in Antwerp-Berchem, where women with diverse backgrounds can experience selling their products (more than 50 women have already seen their products on the shelves since its launch in October 2022). More info
- Community building: an online and offline community based around networking events, monthly workshops throughout Flanders and Brussels, an open source database of diverse female talent and honest entrepreneurial stories. We also organise Power Talks on self-confidence, and have our own SheFUND (seed capital fund).
